Went at about 7pm on Thursday night and it was dead. Service was prompt as well as the food. Ordered pork gyoza and 3 sushi rolls that were on special. Wasn’t anything over the top but it was good.
A range including sushi, hibachi, & Chinese. It's all good, but the sushi is our favorite. This may be the best, freshest & well-prepared sushi restaurant in the county. Very informal comfortable & dark atmosphere. If you love sushi or sashimi you'll be delighted with the results from Steven, the NYC-trained sushi chef & owner. This is a fine example of the Japanese tradition of preparation & presentation.
Still the best sushi place around bel air and harford. Love this place and have been to it many times. Always good sushi and service is great. Thanks for all the great years!
I have been here at least 10 times in the last 2 years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly. The food is excellent and a large variety . This is my GO TO sushi place. I have left high remarks on Trip Advisor several times. Look at the photos. It's as good as it looks. If you like sushi and in the area, you'll like it.

Kiyomi is my go to for a satisfying hibachi steak lunch special fantastic value and delicious food without the usual theatrics which is exactly what I am looking for. While I always stick with the hibachi they also boast an extensive sushi menu if that is your preference.
One of our favorite spots on the Harford food and bev rotation. Charming, intimate atmosphere, with lower light and a quiet vibe great for relaxing with amazing food, sipping a good beverage (wine, saki and beer) and enjoying some down time. Have been going for a lot of years and think they are consistently elevating their game. Sushi is top quality with lots of choices, two of our favorites are the Monster Roll and Snow Maki. So many great dishes over the years and one of our new favorite is the Seafood Fried Rice. This version is different from every other version I've had, and much better! It seems more steamed and sticky compared to the usual hard and oily versions. I cannot get enough of this new favorite of ours. Staff super-friendly and very polite, and the sushi guys are hard working to plate some amazing fresh rolls. ALWAYS enjoy our visits! Thank you Kiyomi!
The staff at Kiyomi are completely dedicated to producing delicious food with high quality ingredients. The sushi is perfectly seasoned and they don't use a lot of rice. I have gluten allergies and they are very knowledgeable and have gluten free soy sauce. I regularly order sushi and chicken fried rice and I haven't gotten sick. Definitely one of the better, if not the best Japanese/sushi restaurant in the county. They package everything very nicely for takeout and delivery.
